The Bridal Contract

Congratulations on your big day & I am so excited to be a part of it! Once you decide that I am the artist for you, a contract will a be issued via e-mail with a thorough breakdown of pricing, scheduling, location, services, policies and so on. When booking your bridal package, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be required for each member receiving a service. A requested date is not reserved unless both contract is signed and deposit is received.

Retainer Policy

For all other inquires, only a deposit is required. A non-refundable $25 retainer deposit will be issued per person and payed via Venmo or Zelle. A requested date is not reserved unless a deposit is received. The remainder of your balance may be payed however you please at the end of your service (cash, Venmo, or Zelle).

Early Call Times

A $20 fee will be charged for appointment times booked before 9:00AM.

Late Policy

Life happens and it’s not always possible to be punctual. If you are running late, please text or call me to let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. Unfortunately, due to the nature of my business, my schedule is on strict time constraints. If you are more than 15 minutes late, please keep in mind that I reserve the right to charge a late free of $15 and/or release your appointment if it detrimentally obstructs my schedule for the day.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Makeup will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted time for service. Acceptance of completed makeup application by client is acknowledgment by client that makeup is done to his/her satisfaction.

Trials

A trial is available to any client who requests one and is REQUIRED for ALL brides. An additional trial makeup service costs $150 and will not exceed 1.5 hours. This fee is due when trial service is rendered. Please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule a trial.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are preferred one week or more prior to the date reserved and no less than 48 hours in advance. If client cancels less than 1 week prior to service, their deposit will be forfeited. If makeup artist cancels at any time, 100% of the deposit rendered with be returned to the client within 48 hours.

On-Location Policy

A “work station” must be made available upon arrival of makeup artist. This must include a table, working electrical outlets, and proper lighting, whether by means of natural light or lamps. This is necessary in order for a service to be performed properly.

Travel Fee

A milage fee of $1 per mile will incurred for for any location that exceeds 20 miles of traveling. The amount will be determined upon inquiry.

Airfare & Accommodations

All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs my include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, tolls etc. Anything over 150 miles from my start point with a start time of 8AM or before, I require to sty the night in a motel or hotel the night prior at clients’ expense.

Liability

All brushed and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized in between every makeup application. Any skin conditions a client may have must be reported to the makeup artist prior to application. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, artistrybylex.com, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Payment

Full payment MUST be retained before the client leaves—NO EXCEPTIONS. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Venmo, and Zelle.

Final head count is due at least 2 weeks prior to reserved date. Additional services may be added up to 1 week prior, but final approval is reserved to artist’s discretion.
A $20 charge will be incurred for appointment times before 9:00AM.
A $25 charge will be incurred for weddings booked on a holiday or holiday weekend.
